Quote: OK, I enjoyed this issue (and the final stretch of this series, Abnett really took a lemon and made a 3 course meal) I appreciate Dick's sacrifice, loved Alan's final confrontation with the Ultra Humanite which played out as it should. But the final page: "Next: Life After Death"
Confusing I agree, I didn't enjoy this issue and that might be because of the last minute change of plans. I can see why the need for a Next Issue became necessary, at least with the Ultra-Humanite war cut short next issue can be devoted to taking stock, tying up loose ends, and giving this unfairly treated book a last high and hopefully finally naming them worthy to be named The Justice Society after six years of damaging avoidance. They deserve that much. And I shall be further disappointed in DC if this simple deserved honour doesn't come to pass for the teams final goodbye.
