Does Doom need a major story line to reestablish himself a the Earth's greatest villian ? Or are you interested in a new bad guy going for the title ?

One of those would always be great, and a thing to be encouraged. What Doom really needs, however, isn't a "makeover." He needs to be gotten out of the hands of hack writers like Mark Waid and, more recently, Reginald Hudlin (much of what Waid wrote with the character simply needs to be erased from existence). Even Brubaker, whose BOOKS OF DOOM was one of the best Doom stories in years, has the Doc consorting with the Red Skull over in CAPTAIN AMERICA--as un-Doomlike a thing as one could imagine.
Erase Waid's rape of the character and get Doom into some competent hands. He won't need to "reestablish" anything--he'll just be
the greatest, as he always has.
