It's an excellent arc/issue, with rarely-bettered Buscema art.
I was just a kid then, bought the isses at 7-11 in Miami, and loved this match between the Avengers and the MOE. Those were the REAL Avengers to me, and that MOE Was only equalled by Stern's. The Melter became my demi-god, and the rest, especially Whirwind in his cool costume, almost as much.

Where exactly in Miami, it's where I grew up too, although that issue came out a wee bit before I started collecting. The first 7-11 purchase I got on my own was the one in my sig. I'm gonna freak if we visited the same places
