This is simply a popularity contest and NOT a "X" vs."Y" battle. However, if you choose to consider powers as a factor in your concept of popularity then, ok. Everyone is welcome to vote.Simply choose which character you like best in each match-up.

Each round will last about 48 hours.
Good luck with your favorites and have fun.

Division I
1.Spiderman----------2.Cap

Division II
1.Hulk---------------2.IronMan

Division III
1.THE Thing----------3.Galactus

Division IV
1.Thor---------------7.Ultron

Notes:
Before this tournament of 256 characters, I did a preliminary round of 64 heroes. Spiderman, Cap, Thing, Thor were the final four and earned #1 rankings. I then inserted villians, celestial beings, and supporting characters to fill out the 256.

Will the #1's repeat the final four?

"I don't think there's such a thing as a hero.
It's a lovely idea and this isn't meant to be cynical,
but I think people are just people who are capable of
very good of very bad things.... "
