Hey was the Bengal's first appearance in Daredevil? Was it that fill-in by Nicenza during the end of Miller's run? I think I have that issue. I thought the Bengal died...

>Instead of Cloud 9, Slott should have used Cloud from the Defenders. These two are practically the same, except for background. Why not use Cloud? Heck, Cloud could turn from a woman into a man and back again.

Alright, so two things:

1- Had Slott used Cloud in place of Cloud 9, these boards would be lit up with complaints that Cloud has already been trained and doesn't belong at Camp Hammond. It's a lose lose situation.

2- Didn't Cloud somehow end up in space? I remember those issues of Solo Avengers that dealt with Moondragon's ressurection where they ran into Cloud in space. It was never really explained (and I hoped it would have at the end of New Defenders, but it wasn't), but they make reference to her/his burgeoning powers. Regardless, I haven't heard from her since, did she ever make it back to the planet?

Yeah, he first appeared in DD#258. I think Ron Lim drew the story. The Bengal next appeared in a Red Wolf story in MARVEL COMICS PRESENTS before Nicieza used him in some NEW WARRIORS issues.
