Still, POWER MAN #47 was the first issue I encountered Zzzax, and I liked the story so much (not too surprised about this, since it was Claremont who wrote it) that it made Zzzax one of the numerous old baddies I happen to like. The last good story I read with him was that Joe Casey issue of CABLE, I believe.

Zzzaxx is fun, I'm not denying that, but he is extremely vulnerable to very simple precautions, and a prepared and halfway clever opponent should never have much trouble with him based on pretty much every appearance he's ever made. He's a big, dumb monster made of sparks, and he's not going to do well against a well-trained, well-prepped, and well-equipped squad sent to capture him.
