> ...it does seem to me that Loeb is going out on a huge limb by---so far---inferring that Sasquatch, Sabertooth, and Logan (and the others) are all descendants from the Lupine tribe...I didn't even know Sasquatch was a mutant(!).
>
> Perhaps Loeb is only inferring this, and Sabertooth will turn out to be from the 'bear' tribe or simian tribe or some other....nothing is very clear yet, but what he seems to be saying is that Yes, all of these characters (sans Ororo and T'Challa) are Lupines. Howver, Loeb may be misleading us on purpose.
>
> Where the rest of these present-day Lupines--the regular ones who like like Werevolves---have been hiding or living (with, perhaps, the exception of the Savage Land Mutate 'Lupo') is beyond me. In the flashbacks, which take place in a Stone Age, there's what looks like thousands of them, and maybe millions. You'd think some fossil bones would have been discovered by now.

> What exactly Weapon X has to do with Wildchild a this exact point remains to be seen. I thought the program was 100% defunct.

It was. And Wild Child, Feral, and Thorrn are all confirmed as Depowered after M-Day. And Sasquatch is a gamma mutate / human possessing the body of a demonic Great Beast, not a mutant. This arc is such a continuity nightmare, we can only hope Logan wakes up in his bed next issue and blames the last few issues on bad pizza.
