Yeah, I agree with you 100% here - but that was my point. Why save all this great stuff for mini's when they can do a lot of it in the framework of their ongoing titles? I'm not saying "no minis whatsoever" because I loved Annhilation. But we're inundated with them. Series are cancelled because they AREN'T touching what the minis are doing.
Hines doing awesome stuff over in Silent War, by the way.

Many of those miniseries haven't really had a place in any series and were short stories with a beginning, middle and end, so I can't see how they would fit in the framework of an ongoing title. Beyond! was a hodge-podge of unrelated and mostly minor characters in a "Contest of Champions" way. None of the main characters in Annihilation even had series. Same with Agents of Atlas, Son of M/Silent War, and Omega Flight. Plus, they've been largely experimental, so who could've known they'd be as good as they were/are.
