Many of those miniseries haven't really had a place in any series and were short stories with a beginning, middle and end, so I can't see how they would fit in the framework of an ongoing title. Beyond! was a hodge-podge of unrelated and mostly minor characters in a "Contest of Champions" way. None of the main characters in Annihilation even had series. Same with Agents of Atlas, Son of M/Silent War, and Omega Flight. Plus, they've been largely experimental, so who could've known they'd be as good as they were/are.

I'm looking at minis like Spider-Man "Reign" or Iron Man "Hypervelocity" and all of the Fallen Son books - For example, Spidey with three titles could have handled Reign somewhere within one of the series, even out of continuity as it is, so to speak. Fallen Son could have easily been used in the Cap title giving Brubaker a brief hiatus. Obviously the books you mention or something like Eternals couldn't have fit into an ongoing series anywhere.
