> Geez, the art alone should be enough to steer you both clear of it.

I admit that at first glance it's not that great. Hard to believe that Giffen did the breakdowns. One pic of Colossus looks horrid. But I don't want to spoil myself so I'll reserver judgement for now.

..but I'm an Adams/Buscema fan, that's the kind of reality-based hero art I like.

Or Berni Wrightson, Barry Winsor-Smith, Steranko, early-to-mid period Starlin, John Byrne, and some Johnny Romita Jr. I like Billy Tan's art and whomever's doing Conquest.

I fail to see why we're being asked to pay $2.99 and up for a lot of really crappy art on a regular basis.

What, there aren't an abundance of really talented artists available any more? I don't buy that for a minute. Or as many as there were 30-40 years ago? I don't buy that either.

We used to get Frazetta, Richard Corben, Starlin, Neal Adams, Ken Kelly, Wally Wood, John Buscema, Gene Colan, Enrich, Steranko, Ditko, Sanjulian, Jose Gonzalez, Tom Sutton, and a large host of others for 12 cents a copy, 15 cents a copy, 25 cents a copy, 50 cents a copy.

when we gladly pay for bad art like Lenil Yu, we're all suckers, and not 'Mr. Suckers' either. Just plain lampreys and bottom-feeders.
