I agree except for Spiderwoman... Why do I not like her? I'm not sure... I sure wish Marvel had better stand alone female characters... Ms. Marvel's coming close... I hope they keep her book going.

Thing is... Spiderwoman meets my criteria, about "recognizability" among NON-comic readers. She had a TV, and some people may still remember her.
It doesn't happen the same with Ms Marvel.
