Another solid issue, although I am hoping that JMS now starts to concentrate more on the central mystery now that the bulk of the characters have had their backstories revealed.

I was kind of hoping that we'd find out that Rockman's underground kingdom was real, but now we know that he's a haunted mortal. It's sad that they'd just let him pound the floor day in and day out. I think I'd try to reveal the truth. He obviously created this fantasy and fought in the war as a distraction to the truth. Now that the war is over he either has to face the truth or find a new mission to occupy his mind. I'd try to heal him...it seems like letting him live the illusion is too cruel and the fact that the military brass is allowing this makes me believe that they have some sort of plan for him.

Blue Blade is central to the overall plotline so I suspect we may see more of his show. I'm hoping that the final page showing Phantom Reporter in full garb marks the transition from the emphasis on various character histories to a heavier focus on Blue Blade's death and the present day fates of the characters. Phantom Reporter has to watch himself--Black Widow's "master" is probably the jealous type and he has told her that no other man can have her.

I believe Claire's strike was a completely different place. Although her full history has not been explained I googled the character and in her original appearances she served as an agent of the Devil, basically tracking down and killing people who had made deals with the Devil and their debt was now due. It's hard to say if Dynamic Man was having a flashback to the bar violence or this was happening at the same time as the news broadcast a bunch of them were watching. I think he didn't do it and it's someone, or something else. My theory: Electro.

Ah, I got that "clothes so tight" joke, I've heard it before. Never aimed at me of course.

Have you noticed the number "12" showing up a lot? I have, particularly in the last 2 issues. I may have to skim the earlier issues as well. I don't know if it's artistic whimsy or calculated clues. For example, the mine shaft in the latest issue was #12 and almost all scenes except one which featured clocks had the little hand on the 12.

> Wow.

> This Dexter guy is some bastard, huh? Rockman isn't living in a dream, he's haunted. Anyone reading this think that he's happier and better off beating the floor obsessively day and night non-stop than being told the truth and getting some psychiatric help?
>
> On another note, hopefully that radio review we heard early in the issue is as much of the Blue Blade's show as we have to endure. I doubt it very much, but I'm hoping.

> Phantom Reporter puts "the suit" back on in order to impress Claire? Can't wait to see where this goes.

> And that second to last page confused me. Are we supposed to assume that Dynamic Man went back and destroyed the gay bar? Was Claire's "strike" at the bar, or a totally different place?
