> Yes or no; is Johnny Blaze once again bonded to Zarathos?
> I ask again because I hear different things from different sources; I hear that the writers say he isn't, then I read from the current OHTTMU TPB that it is Zarathos. Then I hear that it isn't Zarathos but angel, and then I hear that Zarathos is the angel. Which source is the offical one? The writers of the series of the writers of the OHTTMU TPB? What would the offical answer from Marvel Comics be to this question?

The official source can be found in the comics themselves and in the handbooks as well because the handbooks get the information from the comics, editors and writers.

The handbooks explain everything that has happened to characters. Blaze was no longer bonded with Zarathos when Danny Ketch became Ghost Rider. Then in the 2001 limited series he was suddenly bonded with Zarathos once again with no explination. Now it is being explained that he is bonded with an angel.

The current series does not state that Blaze is bonded to Zarathos or not. It says that he is bonded with an angel but that in itself does not contradict anything shown with the history of the character. Angels have fallen from heaven before and become demons. Look at Lucifer and Kazann for examples of Ghost Rider foes that were once angels and now demons. Zarathos could be a fallen angel. Which would make him both an angel and demon.

History has shown the character to be manipulated and lied to by numerous demons. In the 2006 limited series Garth Ennis added angels to the list of those manipulating Blaze with lies.

Until the identity of the angel is given in the Ghost Rider series it is not known if he is bonded with an angel or or Zarathos or if he is being lied to once again or if Zarathos is a fallen angel. As always the best thing to do in situations like this is to wait for an answer in the comics themselves or read the handbooks.
