> The least sympathetic? I may have to think a while about that one. On a side note, the least sympathetic TV character of all time is that Kate $%^&& on LOST. Good Lord, I really hate her. She's a murderer. She's responsible for a few other deaths, if I recall correctly. I'm currently rewatching the show for the 2nd time (Season 2 right now), and I hate the hell out of her. I can't stand her and I can't stand that the writers are trying to make me try and get around her crap by making her sympathetic. If I knew someone like her in real life, I wouldn't waste my time with him/her and think the person was a waste of space. Fortunately, the actress playing her does a good job of making me hate her, lol.

Heh. My favorite character was Michael...I think I was alone in that but I totally sympathized with him even after he killed two people and betrayed his friends to the Others.

I can sympathize with a character who is a murderer as long as they don't actually enjoy killing. It's the intent more than the deed for me.
