They are an unorthodox team of super-villains for hire : the Frightful Four, the A-Team and the Doom Patrol rolled into one.
Even if they are 4 and not 3, they are also inspired by S.C.A.R.s (Ballistique, Rococo and Sylvius), Big Man's Enforcers and the Terrible Trio.
