The Standoff ending wasn't that bad, and is an interesting stage-setter for pre-CW2.

An interesting, BADly contrived, stage-setter for pre-CW2. ;\)

Ultimates! If you like Marvel cosmic tales, this is for you. Loved the trippy art, too.

Agreed!! This issue blew my mind a bit!
Black Panther can survive in the vaccuum of space?!

No, wait that's not what did it. ;\) It was finally catching up with Owen and his singing the praises about the truth of the current Omniverse. It was a very thought provoking song - and dance around the absolute answer. Even though we do NOT get "the answer", Mr.Ewing's "in the meantime" exposition is clever, poetic, entertaining, and cause for a lot more fun/frustrating followup questions. Curious that the FF weren't allowed to touch his stuff here? Wonder what Marvel Bullpenner will get the honor of being allowed to reveal the true final reveal?
