Ok to be fair I was not in the best frame of mind, but the film was good fun from start to finish, lots of nods to the larger MCU and Marvel in general. Not sure if Cummerbatch (sic) is yet strong enough an actor to hold a film in his own right. One mid credit scene (great) and an end credit scene (not sure where it is leading).

All in all way better than IM2, GOTG and TTDW. I would probably rate it alongside Antman.

I hope there is a directors cut on DVD eventually.

After seeing it, I thought the end scene was better than the mid credits scene. Sets up the next Doctor Strange movie.

One beef is Rachel McAdams was just there. I don't see any future for her in the franchise other than being a damsel in distress which I really don't want to see. Had enough of that with Nat Portman and Gwendy Paltrow.
