Quote: The only point to her death and continued death was to force the Scott/Emma Freakshow, and that's gone. Thankfully!I was generally pretty interested in the redemption tale of Emma, but again, as usual, I was entirely oblivious to so many stories that I bet made the whole thing implausible. In my on-again off-again experience of Emma, she was a villain who fell in love with Scott and then tried to be a hero for Scott's sake. (Pretty much identical to the Diamondback story line in the Captain America book, back when that book was readable.) Given my admittedly over-simplified rendering of what she's been doing all these years, it makes sense that Emma would go back to being a villain, now that Scott is dead. Quote: On the other hand, bringing her back can't be a good sign for Rachel.Quote: The fact is that no character can fill the niche that Jean can. Rachel has the most potential to, but no one seems interested in doing it.With Scott and Professor X dead, what would you say Jean's niche is? Are you focusing on her power set or some other aspect(s) of who she is? | |||||||
