At the moment, there really isn't a supposed hero that I disdain more than Jane Foster.

Is this because you remember her as Stan and Jack's timid little rabbit? Or did she do something lately that you disdain?

Well, by all appearances she has abandoned her son. No, I will not forget that he exists.

And I especially don't like the story they've created for her.

The cancer thing? Yeah, it's Mar-Vell's nemesis come back for more (as it tragically too often does). I'm hoping Mjolnir can somehow permit her to shed her human "half" while retaining her Asgardian "half" so she can keep on smiting.

Yes, the cancer thing. I also really don't approve of a lot of what she's been doing as Thor. And on top of that, there's the whole idea that she's the best Thor ever.

Ironheart, I like. However... her origin story is an extremely weak one.

Something about needing to satisfy her superiority complex? I mean, it's Bendis, so of course it's ludicrous. But she's an engineering genius and that's what matters to me. I don't like it when a non-engineer wears the armor. Without an engineer inside, all we're reading about is a fighter jet and its pilot. That's never been Iron Man in my eyes.

Her origin story just lacked any guts. Tony became Iron Man in a freaking warzone. Riri gets a Chicago suburb. Crime stats aside, her story is just blech. Had she been a military tech in Afghanistan or something, Riri would be awesome.

City of Heroes is BACK!
