Marvel have absolutely no clue about the Asian market, have they ?

And Collective Man was the 1st Chinese Marvel superhero (even if he was not interesting ...)

I can see not including Colleen Wing because she's half Japanese, but Shang-Chi was around years before Collective Man.

Methinks Marvel's trying to hide the whole Fu Manchu thing.

Marvel has entire Chinese superteams that seem more creative than these two. But this is about marketing, which is a notoriously uncreative thing.
