well for once I'm glad my predictions and hopes were wrong.
My compliments to the Russos, cast and crew for making a movie whose outcome I wasn't quite able to calculate, unlike the rest of the MCU and DCEU \:\)

Also: for those that don't like short hair THOR.....you can relax.

Also: remember the huge battles in Lord of the Rings and the Hobbit?

Two secondary predictions and hopes for Captain America that I had were correct.

Okay you scrolled down so I guess you want to know

1. Hint: "Whosoever holds this hammer......"

2. Cap gets to go home....you'll see what I mean \:\)

Three minor quibbles:

1. I'm not on board with Cap going back to the past. Cap is for Sharon.

2. They didn't do the classic, iconic Thanos petrification. It was a bit of a letdown, but I guess there's no need since they never plan on revisiting the character.

3. Maybe some characters didn't get enough spotlight, but whatchagonnado?

These really don't matter much though. Otherwise, this is a masterpiece, imo. It would not bother me if we never got another MCU movie, this one did it all. I've never seen a movie that provoked such extremes of emotion: one minute I was busting a gut, the next I was crying, and sometimes I was doing both, and for more reasons than I thought possible. I don't think simple *action* has ever made me tear up before, but just seeing all of these pieces come together was so glorious.

Superhero movies are now broken. Thanks, Marvel. ♥♥♥ The mic has been dropped, and dare I coin a word: mic-jolnir. Ain't nobody picking that up!
