I would put John Byrne on Alpha Flight with the condition that he explore an alternate timeline from #12 and that he keep the book grounded in Canada, so settings, culture, myths, all that, more exploration into the Omega Flight team. Sabretooth as an adversary, team up with Captain Britain and the Black Knight. I wouldn't mind seeing Byrne explore some of what he had wanted to do with the timelines story he had planned for WCA.

I'm kind of iffy about Byrne on Alpha Flight, because I tend to think he doesn't take it nearly as seriously as its fans.
