Pacific was one of the earliest to publish creator-owned comics. They stumbled on the business and cutthroat competitor side of the equation.

I barely remember the company itself, although I do remember those properties you mention. That was one of the great things about that era of comics; all the independent publishers. I provided a wonderful alternative to the Big Two. First Comics, Comico, Eclipse, among others. Dark Horse somehow survived.
