I gave these all a listen. I'd heard the Suicidal Tendencies song before. I don't mean to offend any hardcore fans, but I'm reminded of why I could never get into this music. It's not that I don't like it. If someone recommends a song or two, I can check them out and enjoy them, but to listen to too much at once just puts me off. Honestly, I get bored. Some songs are better, more catchy than others, but for the most part, they all sound the same. I'm sure some people think that about early Ramones, or AC/DC, so I can understand that a little better now. I think I can appreciate hardcore, for the attitude as well as the music, but it's not my thing.

Anyway, as a pallet cleanser, here's the Kinks with Better Things from 1981's Give The People What They Want. This album got a lot of play on my turntable back then.

I agree it's frustrating to menthat the lyrics are all garbled and the sound is very similar in most of them. I can't get into it. I guess I'm over my teenage agnst. \:\)
