Thanks for doing this in-depth look at the songs!

    This Nirvana song, especially, could easily have been classified as punk.

I've heard every Nirvana song so many times that they just sound like Nirvana songs to me. \:\)

    Meanwhile, I had never watched Trent Reznor perform live before. I've always liked his modus operandi. Create the album all by himself, just him and a computer in a hotel room. Then assemble a band to perform the songs live.

Yeah it's like those rumors that Paul McCartney was such a perfectionist that he would secretly rerecord Ringo's drum tracks in the middle of the night. Reznor cut out the middle men and did everything himself from the get go.

If I remember correct his brother was the drummer for the live shows at first. I always thought that was nice of him to give his brother a job like that.

    I am haunted by the last section of the lyrics:

Ditto, I still got chills when I was listening to the track.
