I DEFINITELY have Queen lined up. I remember Bolton had a semi-rock hit circa '83 or '84, but I can't recall it. Do you have the title of his Top 40 hit back then?

His three biggest hits were all reinterpretations of old songs:

Sittin' on the Dock of the Bay

Georgia on My Mind

When a Man Loves a Woman (1991 but maybe John will give you dispensation since I doubt this is a song he would play, but I'm sure it's one you would)

A brief autobiographical tidbit:
Michael Bolton and Queen were favorites of my ex-wife. It is only now, 18 years later, that I find my interest in these bands rekindling.

I never heard Bolton's renditions of those songs, but I WISH I could remember the name of the hit he had in '83 or '84. It wasn't HARD rock, but closer to medium rock as opposed to Adult Contemporary or pop.

I heard ONE song from him back then, but I recall liking it. \:\)
