    And The Police had a heckuva great run in the '80's. I recall thinkin' it was sad that they were breaking up, but Sting did pretty darned well on his own afterwards. \:\)

True, he has done some real great work on his own.

    Here's Dave Edmund's wikipedia page. He only had one other hit besides this one, and while Slippin' Away didn't get very high on Billboard, the video DID get heavy rotation on MTV.


Oh thanks- I see where I've heard of him before. I hear you knocking still gets played sometimes on the radio in my city. I see that Jeff Lynne from ELO had a hand in writing Slipping Away which explains some of it goodness LOL.

Lol I did not know Glass Tiger was a Canadian band at all. It says they are from Newmarket which is outside of Toronto I believe. Thanks for the vid!

I think it's BECAUSE they're a Canadian band that Bryan Adams lent his voice to this song. \:\)
