I always liked this song, but never ventured into the Cult's music. I remember it being all over the alternative rock station back in the 80's.




This is the first Stevie Ray song I remember, and it's a good one. I love the video, too. Pretty funny, with all the guitars and the Stooges-esque dummy bits.







I was never much into Whitney Houston, but I have heard this song quite a bit.




I don't remember this one at all. The song's ok but the video is awful. Videos were still a developing artform.




I liked this song. I remember thinking it strange that a guitarist would have an album with a bunch of different singers. "Ambitious" was a great song from Flash. Donny Osmond makes an appearance in it.




I completely forgot about this song. It's very good. I remember seeing the video many times back in MTV's earliest days.




This song used to get a lot of ribbing. I want to say it's better than I remembered. Parts of it are, but it's still pretty goofy.




When I think of the video era, this is one of the first songs I think of. I'd outgrown the hairbands around the late 80's, but I can still listen to Quiet Riot. Seeing the video again for the first time in ages, I still knew every bit.
I even looked up some other Quiet Riot videos and Slade videos afterward. Slade road QR's coat tails to their biggest hit with Run Runaway. Maybe we could see that next week. It's not a great song, but it is a feel good rocker.
