For the 30th 90s Music Fun I decided to pull out all the stops and play the biggest and most mega hits from the 90s. Some might say these songs were overplayed. And they'd probably be right. \:\)

As a bonus I've also included some parodies of some of the songs.

One day you hear this for the first time and it just blows everything else you've ever heard out of the water. At least that was my experience. I'm sure it happens to kids to this day who are just discovering it. There's some bands I like more, even other musicians from Seattle I prefer but the 90s is just synonymous with Nirvana and the unforgettable music they created in their brief time together. It's funny but I think I first saw the Weird Al video before the original. Crazy huh?

    U2

    One

A timeless favorite song of mine. One of their best and a great video as well. IMO U2 never came close to topping this song with anything afterward. I listened to an interview where Bono said something once about how couples use this as their wedding song and how that's actually a misinterpretation of the meaning behind the song.

    Oasis
    Wonderwall

I could never get into this song much.

    Metallica
    Enter Sandman

The song that got me listening to Metallica. Still love it to this day even if I prefer their other albums.

Nine Inch Nails (Warning lots of cursing)
    Closer

    Red Hot Chili Peppers

    Under the Bridge

    Such a great video.

    R.E.M.

    Man on the Moon

As a big R.E.M. and Andy Kaufman I've always dug this tune.

If there's one song from the 90s I can say was everywhere, it's actually not Smells Like Teen Spirit- it's this one. Sad stuff but great song.

    Bonus Parodies

Maybe my favorite parody of his? That donut the janitor pulls out of the bucket is the best along with the guy on fire.
