After reading Katefan's post I would have to add Jake the Snake Roberts and Alan Rickman in Die Hard, but even more so Alan Rickman in the 1991 Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves film where he played the Sheriff of Nottingham. One of my favorite performances by a an actor as a bad-guy.

Absolutely I love Prince of Thieves especially Alan Rickman's performance.

Agreed. It's one of my favorite films. Everybody says well Kevin Costner isn't British enough. I thought he and everyone else did a phenomenal job.

I never missed the accent. And it would have been awful if he had tried.

But if I was British it might have bothered me.

It would be like if Bond was played by someone who wasn't British.
