This was my first Black Crowes song and it's still my favorite. Great southern blues rock. I saw the Crowes a couple of times in the early 90's.

This is a great Garbage tune. Shirley Manson is so hot.

Never heard of her before, but I liked the song. According to wiki, she lives right down Cape Cod.

Never heard of her before, either, but this is a nice song. It does kind of have that Eliott Smith sound to it, though my knowledge of Smith is limited.

Al really is good at mimicking the times. This sounds very much like a song from the 90's, but a Weird Al song, with screwy lyrics, Al's voice and accordion. I loved that the aliens that abducted him looked like Jamie Farr.
Great pick!

I remember this one. It's a very good song, got a lot of radio play back then. I don't know much else by them, though.

This was great. It was new to me. Oasis rarley disappoints though.

Great pick! This was one of my favorite albums of the 90's. This with Ball And Chain and Story Of My Life would occasionally be played on WBCN in 1990 and helped usher in the new era of punk rock for me. Social Distortion did a great job covering this Cash classic.

I always liked this song, but I never knew who sang it. It was just one of those 90's songs. Good stuff.

I know you played Pearl Jam last week, but I'd like to request Mankind for next week. It'll be pretty easy to see what makes this song different from the rest.
