One thing I liked a lot about the cartoon was Betty's professional status. She seems highly respected. This growth in the character, from where she was in the 60s and 70s, is most welcome. Was that in the comic too?

This was my favorite part of the cartoon. That she was Banner's equal.

I was watching it with my wife and son. When Betty starts to escape I said Betty don't try to do anything. And of course my wife frowned at me. Then when she takes a dive into the river my wife says "She's a self rescuing princess." and I said "well, when your hero is so easily distracted you have to be."
