I feel like I've asked this question a couple of ways before, but this article "Four Fantastically Filmable Indie Comics from the 1980s" has inspired me to ask the question again.

What comics from the 80s and 90s (especially indie comics) should have been made into movies?

And also, do you agree with the ones the writer of the article chose?

I would love to see Dreadstar as a major motion picture, it's been in development for a while, but then again Mad Max, Fury Road had been in development since 2003 so that doesn't mean much. And for me Elfquest was one of my favorite comics in high school, I would love to see an animated version of it.
