Probably The Goonies or E.T. E.T. was a phenomenon. My mom took my younger brother and me to see it. Goonies was a cable movie for me, but one that I watched every day for one summer. Those movies had more of a hook for me. While seeing a movie in the theater was a treat, the cable movies that were watched daily for weeks were the ones that have the most lasting impression.

For my kids, it's definitely Toy Story. Though my daughter wasn't born until 2004, Toy Story(1995) was easily the best of the VHS tapes we bought for her. She loved it, my son loved it, and I loved it. It was a movie I could watch every day, much more easily than those Wiggles videos.
