So many awesome 80s comedies.

The Cosby Show: Getting past recent news stuff, it's still a great show.
Cheers: The comedy skewed a bit too macho for my tastes, but it was still good. Preferred Frasier by miles.
Three's Company: John Ritter really didn't get enough credit during his career.
Night Court: It is me or does this series never seem to get enough attention?
Golden Girls: Perfection, y'all are Blanche Devereaux.
Diff'rent Strokes: Don't think about the sad real lives of the kids. Just enjoy the fun.
Jeffersons: One of the best series of all time.
Family Ties: This was more "my" sitcom family than
Married With Children: I'm still amazed they were able to do this series back then.
Soap/Benson: Soap was nearing its end by the 80s, but still a great satire. Both shows just had some great comedic talent.
WKRP: Mostly for Hesseman and Reid, but the others were good.
Taxi: Brilliant!
Amen: Sherman Hemsley scores again!
Bosom Buddies: Nope. Nothing at all creepy about two hetero guys crossdressing an living in an all-women apartment building. Hard to believe this is Forest Gump.
Perfect Strangers: What's not to love about Balki?
Alice: If you disagree, then kiss my grits, dingy! This one is extremely under-appreciated, imo.
Who's The Boss: Had a sort-of crush on Mona (beginning on Soap).
Happy Days/Lavern & Shirley and Barney Miller: Past their prime (and Fonzie jumped the shark in 77), but still good into the 80s (McGinley was only a recurring character until 82).
Mama's Family: fan of the Carol Burnett skits.
ALF: Screw ET. I wanted an alien like him. But what about my cats? Hmm...
Facts of Life: Crushed on Jo... and Tootie.
A Different World: not so much when Lisa Bonet was in it
Gimme A Break: I think I crushed on all of the females in the show at some point for different reasons. Nell Carter was just an awesome person.
Coach: I have to admit that I missed it until syndication. Never really thought much of Craig T Nelson until seeing this show.
Head of the Class: fan of Howard Hesseman.
What's Happening Now: Loved its predecessor more, but any Rerun is awesome.
Mork & Mindy: Don't be a nimnul, kayo?
Punky Brewster: "Every time I turn around, I see the girl who turns my world around." C'mon! 80s Little Orphan Annie!

And from across the pond: Young Ones (there was a time I could recite the lines by heart) and Red Dwarf.

Include any holdovers from the 80s list.

Getting the Big Three out of the way: Seinfeld, Friends, and Frasier probably cannot be topped in my lifetime.

Drew Carey Show: I'm probably the biggest fan of the show that I know of. The team of comedians in this show was a great ensemble, and the show started falling apart when Christa Miller left.

3rd Rock From the Sun: Funniest aliens since Mork. Really great cast, smart writers, and premise given a shot by producers and viewers at the right time.

Spin City: Shame that Michael J Fox left, but it was a great show. That cast! Wow. Mike's final episode was probably one of the best sendoff's in TV history, imo.

That 70s Show: I think I left just after Topher did, but those first several seasons were great.

Becker: Another I didn't discover until syndication. Jerkiest doctor this side of House, but just as good deep down... and funnier. Good backup cast. If not for the strike debacle, this might get more recognition. The loss of Reggie (Terry Farrell) really sucked.

I watched Fresh Prince & Martin when I got around to it. Loved that silliness, but I wasn't a regular.

I remember liking Wings once, but I don't even remember why. I guess the characters/actors were good, but I really have no memory of them.

City of Heroes is BACK!
