I started rewatching The X-Files a month or two ago and am now near the end of season three. I know, I should've said something earlier, but I'm saying it now! ;\-\)

Pusher is the 17th episode of season 3, airing on Feb 23, 1996. It tells the story of a man who has a brain tumor which allows him to develop the ability to talk people into doing what he wants. Kind of like the Purple Man, or Fusion from Spider-Man. Or The Voice for old Marvel fans. Anyway, the Pusher sees himself as a ninja and becomes an assassin. He's looking for a worthy adversary and finds him in Mulder and, after a very good half hour of cat and mouse, has a final battle of will with him. Luckily, Scully is able to save the day.

This is a great episode, and one that I vividly remember watching when it first aired. The Pusher's abilities were very novel for a TV character at the time and Mulder's headgames with him were just great. Really a solid episode that still holds up well.

Teso Dos Bichos was the 18th episode of season three. I had very little memory of this episode up until the last 10 minutes when the cats attack. I actually confused it with the Chupacabra episode El Mundo Gira. It was set in Boston, which was nice for me, although it really turned out to not matter much. This episode is generally regarded as one of the worst, based on my internet searching, and I can see why. It's not terrible, but it's just not very good and has little that is memorable. I couldn't help feeling like the final cat attack seemed a bit like a bad SNL Toonces skit. Apparently Kim Manners had a problem with the episode saying that "Pussycats are not scary!" I can see what he meant.

Does anyone else remember these episodes?

The X-Files is currently on Netfilx.

Yeah, I remember them, and also watch the reruns on Chiller. For awhile there were about 2 every morning 6 days a week, now they're back to 3-5 eps every Sunday (or something like that). They don't seem to go past season 5, for some reason, though.

Help make an "Evil Dead: The Game" tie-in and/or continuation comics from Dark Horse Comics or IDW Publishing:

Starz cancelled the show, Bruce Campbell has retired as Ash, and there's going to be a post-show video game called "Evil Dead: The Game", so help us with our petition for tie-in and/or continuation comics of it!

Also, I've made a .doc file for a posted flyer for the page. Please also print and post these pages at your LCS.
