Cosmos was a classic, of course, but it wasn't the only one. Which science or nature shows did you watch back in the day? Did you like them?



I, of course, don't remember individual episodes, but the big two nature shows were:

Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom started in ancient times (ie, before I was a thing) but ran in syndication until the late-80s. Perkins retired from the show in, like, 85.

There was a PBS series called, simply, Nature. I think it may still come on.

And of course, there's the David Attenborough Life series.

For general science: Nova (but it started in the 70s).

A favourite of mine was Connections (with James Burke), which was a 70s thing, but it came back twice in the 90s (Connections2 & 3). Burke also did The Day the Universe Changed in the mid-80s.
