They were pretty poor productions that mostly relied on T&A which is why Joan Severance was cast in the lead role. I remember the series airing on Sci-Fi Channel, I don't know if that originated on Showtime like the movies. It had a much cheaper budget and was sanitized to a PG level so it lost most of what appeal it had. It's very campy yet dark and "adult." Adam West plays a villain on the series.
