Got a Dire Straits Double Album called Alchemy. Great live album- I have it on vinyl but I felt the need to get another hard copy just to be a completest.

Do you find vinyl actually sounds better as some people say? I was a teenager during the 8-track tape days, so I never bought vinyl. To me vinyl meant the needle might scratch it.

I actually grew up in the tape era myself and always preferred them to records and cds but those days are over as well. Personally I think vinyl can sound better but mostly it is all about your speaker system I think.

I also got for Christmas a pretty neat book called TMNT: A Complete Visual History. I haven't fully read through it but it's got some great old photos and behind the scenes stuff.

I'm a semi-fan of the Turtles. Now and then I'll buy the more adult-oriented mini-series. I only buy it when at least one of the original creators is involved.

I bought everything when I was younger but once I discovered the original stuff I have mostly stuck to stuff by the original creators as well.
