See pic for a memory jogger. Was August, 1986 a fun month for you?

I was around 13 at the time and bought most of my comics (and pulpy Star Trek novels) at a Waldenbooks within biking distance.
As for these issues? I bought a bunch: "Classic X-Men," "X-Men," "X-Factor," "New Mutants," "Captain America," "Avengers," "Daredevil," "Fantastic Four," "Amazing Spider-Man," and "Spider-Ham."
"Avengers" was the beginning of the 'Under Siege' storyline, "X-Men" and "X-Factor" were in the midst of 'Mutant Massacre,' "Amazing Spider-Man" spun a battle between Spidey and X-Factor, "Fantastic Four" graced us with some magnificent Marc Silvestri artwork, and "Spider-Ham" featured the first appearance of the Bee-yonder and the black Spider-Ham suit. Ha.
Good memories.
