I have loved the work of Jose Luis Garcia-Lopez from the first time I saw it, which I think might have been the comic Atari Force, written by Gerry Conway, and one of the best comics I have ever had the pleasure of reading.

I hope you enjoy the pix as much as I do!

Is anyone else a fan of this artist? What was some of your favorite work by him? Did you happen to read Atari Force? Did you like it?

I never read Atari Force. My memories of Garcia-Lopez are all from Superman, DC Comics Presents and Teen Titans. And the odd Batman story. But yes I'm a big fan, and like you I took to his work the second I laid eyes on it.

It's a tribute to his craftsmanship that an artist who could never hold down a continuing series for more than a handful of consecutive issues is so highly regarded by both professionals and fans alike.
