Yes, it was purely down to speed. It's a great shame. I'd have loved to have seen a solid run of issues from him on any title. Here's what he says about it himself, from the TwoMorrows Publishing 'Modern Masters' series issue #5 (Along with a stunning Jonah Hex piece).
