Love and still loved his X-Men issues. Lots of creativity, fun, and detail.

Unfortunately I know him best from the 21st century (not our era). I wasn't paying much attention back in the 90s - largely because I didn't like a lot of Marvel's art in those days.

So I just googled "jim lee art x-men" and looked at the images. I remember this art work! And I remember not liking it. But I'm wondering if maybe it's the inkers. I've attached an image discovered while googling. It has this leering attitude that creeps me out. I guess maybe villains are supposed to creep me out. But it has this adolescence to it. A lot of the 90s Marvel and 90s Image art work had an adolescence to it. And for some reason I react negatively to that.
