After I finished all the TV seasons of Deep Space Nine, I wanted more, so I bought a bunch of novels. And wow are they good! So far I've read these:

    Objective: Bajor by John Peel

The Heart of the Warrior by John Gregory Betancourt

INVASION! Time's Enemy by L.A. Graf

All three do a beautiful job of capturing the nuances of the TV series. And all three are high quality science fiction of the space opera sub-genre.

One nice thing about reading novels is, I can select the ones that center around my favorite characters, which for me means Sisko, Kira, Dax, Odo, and Worf. I would never read a novel that centered around Quark - but I'm sure someone would.

Have you read any Deep Space Nine novels? Do you think you might like to? I can tell you this - there are a lot of them.

I've never been into expanded content outside of the original medium a franchise is in but I really like DS9. I may one day have to read some. I've heard good things about a novel about Garek.
