      Then of course Marvels which I thought worked quite well. Yes, they looked like cosplayers. I thought that was kind of the point, what if these characters existed in real life, what would they look like? They would look ridiculous. But it was still great stuff.

    I think you made a key point. "They would look ridiculous." If that's the message I get from a comic book artist, then I won't like that artist. I want the artist to make my suspension of disbelief easier, not harder.

See, I felt exactly the opposite! I thought the characters looking realistic made them seem even more impressive to me, because it made me think of what it would be like to watch an actual person performing these actions.

However, with every project, I feel like Ross has become increasingly boring with his layouts and humorless in his presentation, and after a while I've lost interest in his work.
