Hope your Moms (of any generation) are having a great day today.

Meanwhile - What did you think of Susan Richards as a Mom? Was she a good one? Did she balance that role appropriately with those of wife and superhero? Were you glad Franklin was a part of the FF comic? Also - since Valeria first appeared in 1999, which puts her just barely in our era - were you glad Varleria was a part of the FF comic? Try to focus your comments on our era. This means, for example, that all the weird twists and turns of Valeria's life in the 21st century are largely off topic.

Were there any other significant comic book mothers you'd like to mention and discuss? Martha Kent? Martha Wayne? Hippolyta?

You know how Joey Q was on a mission to undo the Peter/MJ marriage because readers couldn't "relate" to a married hero?

I don't know that I saw Sue as a mom but as a lad of 10 I viewed the FF as the ideal for what a marriage would be. Husband, wife, brother, friend. Joking, working, loving. I didn't have much concept of Franklin but I always loved Reed/Sue.
