Now that cartoon did set the bar rather high for telling Transformers stories. Beast Machines almost matched it but it got way to spiritual for a TF cartoon.

Beast Wars was phenomenal! Even the story editors said back in the day that it was more of a "scifi show" than a "TF show." And while the idea of "technorganic" was interesting, it felt wrong to be used with TFs. Hasbro should have just let Larry DiTillio and Bob Forward come up with a way to continue from BW, instead of having BMac.

I kind of liked the spiritual aspect of Beast Machines. Same with Battlestar Galactica.

    Religious robots click with me.

Car Robots, Armada, and the other 2 that came after it were horrible.

Car Robots is the name of a Japanese TF show from 2000-2001 (their first made TF anime show after their Beast Wars Neo show). The English dub was "Transformers: Robots In Disguise" (not to be confused with the current, post-Prime series), and was released 2001-2002, which is my 4th fav TF show (G1, BW, and then Prime). After that was Armada (Micron Legend in Japan), Energon (Superlink in Japan), and Cybertron (Galaxy Force in Japan), all of which were bad, yeah (although Energon was a small improvement over Armada, and Cybertron was somewhat better than the first two). After that, we got more good American shows again, first Animated, then Prime, Rescue Bots, and the new Robots In Disguise.

Transformers Prime...okay this one almost reached the excellent story telling of Beast Wars.

In total agreement.

Help Make an "Ash Vs. Evil Dead: Season 4" IDW Comic Series

Starz cancelled the show, and Bruce Campbell has retired as Ash, so help us with our petition for a Season 4 comic!

Also, I've made a .doc file for a posted flyer for the page. Please also print and post these pages at your LCS.
