Camp out in any lines waiting for anything back in our period?



I didn't really camp out, but I waited in line for Rolling Stones tickets for about 5 hours in 1989. It was the Steel Wheels tour, I was 19 and hung over as hell. This was when, if you wanted good seats, you had to wait in line instead of paying a fortune for them. I believe I got 7th row. I was maybe 50 people back in line but by late morning there were hundreds waiting. Great show, but I remember thinking back then how old they were. And they're still going!

The images below aren't mine, but I do have my ticket stub somewhere in the garage. This was back when Gillette Stadium was Sullivan Stadium
