Quote:Hitman was actually not at Vertigo, although it seems like it should have been. I believe the whole run was under the DC banner.
I edited the post. Wow, I'm surprised this wasn't Vertigo.
Quote:I dug up a few more, you may have run across them when you found Nexus and such at First Comics, although you may not count them as "amazing adventurers" since most of them are regular folks (who go on amazing adventures!)
Quote:Eclipse Comics' Airboy made it to 50. He was a legacy of a Golden Age character but this was the son of the original. Also their Ms. Tree who went from Eclipse to Aardvark/Vanaheim to Renegade Press made it to 50, then got her own DC series!
Quote:First Comics' American Flagg also made the cut. Grimjack went on past 50 (and he had magic powers!) And Jon Sable, Freelance made it past 50 as well.
I just went ahead and put these all in.
Quote:EDIT: I just keep finding more. How about Buffy the Vampire Slayer? Maybe transferred from another medium doesn't count? The movie first came out in 1992. The comic began in 1998 and ran 63 issues. She has amazing super powers and everything!
I added her in.
How do you keep finding these? (Although, frankly, I should have thought of Buffy. I guess to me 1998 was so close to the 21st century that I don't think of it as the 90s - which of course it was.)
