I hit the spoilers button, even though the issues in question are like 20 years old.

I finally finished reading the first 26 issues of the Darkhawk series from the 90s. Over all, I liked it. The art was really good and the writing was really good. Some thoughts in no particular order:

I didn't like either. I tended to only like Darkhawk when he was doing something New Warriors related. He didn't work solo imo. I never liked the art.

I like Klaus Janson's art. Mike Manley's art reminds me of Klaus Janson.

Pretty sure he's flying after he gets the updated costume in issue 38. I remember he didn't seem to have any trouble flying through space in War of Kings.

After posting this thread, I finished reading the first two Darkhawk annuals, which completes the set of Darkhawk comics I had gotten via eBay. In the second annual he can fly.

    Pretty sure he gets better.

Dead Dad gets better? We never saw the body get buried, so I was wondering if he might turn up again in the future. I wonder if bad guy Bazin (whose body was supposedly washed out to sea when Dad's was) turned up again also.

Ryder is in school gets zapped, gains powers which at first manifest with him blasting his doctor out of his hospital room and no one stops to question that.
